Ian and Sarah at the Southgate Inn are hosting another 'Bangers and a Pint' event for the Devizes Food Festival in 2016. This evening proved more popular than ever in 2015 with people being turned away at the door.

Supported by the Southgate Inn
This year there is the added attraction of a performance of
Morris Dancing
by our local club.

The ticket price includes a plate of Bangers and Mash with gravy plus a drink of your choice at the bar.

The Southgate has a wide selection of real ales and cider, but other drinks can be substituted for the 'Pint' if you wish.
We can also cater for vegetarians and gluten-free diets, but you need to tell us when you book.

Tickets: £8 from normal Food Festival Outlets
and the Southgate Inn

We're looking for a Secretary

As planning for the next Food Festival gets going in earnest, the organisers are looking for someone who will act as Secretary and Minute Taker at our Planning Meetings. This is an important job ensuring that decisions taken at the meetings and things which need to be done are properly recorded and circulated for action.

For this role it is not necessary to record everything that is said at the meeting, but simply extract key decisions and actions. The secretary can play a valuable role in spotting items which are unresoved, unclear or ambiguous and getting them clarified.

Meetings are usually held monthy from September to March
and slightly more frequently in April/May

You will need to be able to use computer word processing and e-mail.
There is scope for getting involved in other activities too if you want to.
 .
