Black Dog Smokery

Award winning hot- and cold-smoked fish, chicken, game, Locally sourced rare breed pork for their bacon, cheeses, nuts, garlic. All cured and smoked in Royal Wootton Bassett.

Black Dog Smokery is run by husband and wife Iain and Louise Murray-Clarke in Royal Wootton Bassett producing high quality traditionally cured and smoked meat, fish, cheeses and nuts.

Black Dog Smokery focusses on sourcing from, and supporting, local farms in Wiltshire and the surrounding counties of Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire.

This ensures they use only the best raw ingredients, to produce a quality end result from free range rare breeds.

All the meats are cured, using their own recipe, dried, and smoked in their Wiltshire smokehouse. They insist that quality is not compromised and source suppliers carefully, collecting and receiving deliveries direct from the farm as required, building strong links with suppliers wherever they can.
